Decarbonization in the Ultrasonic Cleaner

I have a high-pressure air compressor (4500 PSI) and oil migrated into the cylinders and carbonized on the reed valves and valve bodies. I'm planning to put it in my ultrasonic cleaner with some Oil Eater added and see how that turns out. If that doesn't work, do you have any other suggestions?

Re: Decarbonization in the Ultrasonic Cleaner

I've been impressed with my US cleaner.but I have had to help it out on some stubborn grime..
I let it soak overnight and then brushed with a brass "toothbrush"
Sometimes it works great, sometimes it needs help

Re: Decarbonization in the Ultrasonic Cleaner

I've had good luck using Carbon Off to clean pistons and engine parts with burnt oil on them. It works great on the wife's gas range but she made buy my own can for the shop.
