1: My booster worked great but the little check valve on it was bad. It didn't allow air through either way. Just pull it off and blow on it, air should only go one way.

Thanks for the links and information. I will check the pedal ratio when I take the cover off in the spring. This has a good pedal just not enough stopping power. This is the first time I have built something like this so learning as I go. Steve

I've used C4/C5 disc brakes on a number of LS swapped hot rods. The idea that LS engines don't create enough vacuum even with cam listed above is crazy.17" of vacuum is more than enough to run power brakes.
But and its a big but I use a 2004 C5 brake booster with a C5 master or 2002 Camaro master depending on which side works better to route the brake lines and Wilwood prop valve to the rear wheels. The booster and master are designed to work together.
My go to guy for brake help is Tobin at KORE3.com. He is top notch. Always willing help even if you don't buy stuff from him.

Thank you for the great information. I was initially going to use the 84 C4 booster and master but wanted something nicer to look at so got a right stuff chrome 8" dual diaphragm booster,1" master and disc disc prop valve. I will look into KORE3.com if need more help. Steve
