after one too many sleepless nights The Greg made some significant progress on Rev. 2.0 of our input shaft mechanism, using this handy LDR 311 F-112 Galvanized Floor Flange, 1-1/2-Inch, complements of our friends in Vietnam, or as I like to call it the Lexus GS450h transmission plate two big of a hole reducer thingie
here it is as found in our local Ace Hardware store plumbing section |

just think clutch pressure plate alignment tool

Is the "Lexus GS450h transmission plate two big of a hole reducer thingie" being used as an alignment tool so you can re-drill those mounting holes?

that is correct, but it also required this additional mini adapter aka "rubber band set"
