66c10 American Auto Wire - mega busbar location?
Im trying to find a good spot for that mega busbar plastic hub that the starter and alternator hook up to. Anyone have any suggestions on where its best to locate it in my situation? I have the alternator on the driver side. The pics show what I was thinking but its probably all wrong. I was going to run the purple and red wires out of the firewall opening below the taillight harness connector thats labeled "unused"

I put mine on the firewall, since the battery is under the bed and the starter is hard to get to. I've jump-started off this, too.
Might not be the look you're going for....

Re: 66c10 American Auto Wire - mega busbar location?
That looks sharp, I was not thinking much about what the wiring looks like under the hood so far. Just excited to get things going and get it on the road again. But before I make a mistake on where things are routed and mounted I was curious on what others do with their wiring set ups and this kit. The overall look I am going for with the truck is closer to stock for a 66. Thanks for the reply!

I'd probably suggest between the battery and the rad support. Closest to the battery is usually best practice, generally speaking. If you pop one of those fuses, you probably have huge issues and will be pulling the battery anyways. Tucked in there would still be "out of sight" yet accessible, and still maintain the "original" look you're after.

Thanks SkinnyG, Ill try the side of the radiator support to the right of the battery tray. Looks like nothing else was over there when I looked at the tear down pic on that side.
