Re: Another reason to have a truck

I get this ALL THE TIME.
I have a 1500 foot driveway that has a switchback halfway, and gains 300 Ft in elevation. Many times these clowns they have driving just look at my driveway and call in to tell the desk “no one was home, unable to deliver”.
I’ve caught them three times doing this.
No matter how many times I tell the store “Do not send a truck any bigger than 26 foot”, they do, and I have to argue with the driver, and tell them to get a supervisor on the phone. Most times I can get them to offload the item at my shop.Fortunately I have Pallet Forks for my tractor, so I can offload and move just about anything, unless it voids their responsibilities.
Last year I bought a new Air Compressor (On line), and OMG what a Goat Rodeo getting them to even up my road (they were going to use a Semi), let alone my driveway.
