raggedJim - 2wd Blazer (mostly)

I've never really posted a build thread for my 2wd Blazer so I decided to throw some pics and info up. Most of these pics have been posted before.

Basically a 4wd tub on an original 2wd Blazer frame. 350/400 combo.

The day I bought it, you can also see my 2wd '77 Blazer and my '78 Chevrolet short bed. Yeap, I used to be a square-body guy (still like them!). It's sporting the cowboy rake!

Had to do something about the rake so I added 2" blocks in the rear.

Also put on new 17" wheels and tires. I had to machine them to fit as they were from a later model vehicle and the hub was too small.

My son was 9 in the pic, he's now 28!

Was never a fan of the billet aluminum grill, so I repaired one I bought used, painted it black, and stuck it in there.

And that's about it. It's pretty reliable and I drive it in the spring - fall.

It's perfect. Made the updates you wanted and now you drive it when the weather and your schedule allow.
