Re: NOS Wheel Covers P01, on Ebay

The listing was ended early, Wednesday afternoon.
Someone called the seller (a well known person on our forum and super parts dealer) and cut a deal.
The original price was fair IMO.

If one is doing a high dollar rebuild and wants 100% stock ... they would be willing to pay that. IMHO

Glad they found a home.

Will these go on a rally wheel?

Was looking at other caps on ebay and was curious

Re: NOS Wheel Covers P01, on Ebay

not an unreasonble price IMO. however they failed to show the most vulnerable part of these caps - the inner portion, which nearly always shows wear.

FYI - you can turn any 1973 and newer with the yellow and black center circle into a 1972 and older with spray-on stove cleaner, a brass brush and steel wool. The issue with the earlier models is that center area around the bowtie pits quickly. On the 1973 and newer, having it painted black all these years from the factory preserves whats under. Here's a set I reddid recently. these look factor fresh, unlike this sellers $1200 caps.

Perfect.
Have a set of rallys on our crew cab square.
Maybe worth getting a funky set of caps for it.
