Owie!!! (pic)

Man, check this out!!!

"This Blazer ran off the road and hit the embankment, causing it to flip over and crushing down to the body. The four occupants escaped with only minor injuries! We had to use hydraulic spreaders to lift the truck enough to allow placement of medium pressure air bags."

It had a real roof.... you can see it in the pic.... My take is, *any* vehicle with a removable top needs a roll bar. I have a roll bar in my scout. Really, the 67-72 pickup trucks could probobly use a roll bar too, anyone seen one flipped? I wouldn't know, I've seen similiar vehicles flipped though and the top of the cab just smashed all the way down to the level that blazer is. But blazers definately need a roll bar more than a pickup.

those fiberglass removable tops arnt very strong,,,,,,, i wouldnt consider them "real" roofs.........
ive seen rolled 67-72s and they didnt collapse to bad..... of course the speed and other varibles would depend on that
