Re: Picture test of my 63
A short list of the work I've done... Drop springs and spindles. Wheels and tires. Sway bar. Disk brake conversion with power brakes. Tank relocate to rear. Short bed conversion, 12" front, 6" rear. Steering column. Rear bumper tuck. Copius amounts of rust repair to cab, fenders hood, bed, still need to replace rockers and door bottoms.
0nce that's complete I'll start the long road of learning how to do body work to get ready for paint. |

Some more. I forgot to mention the power steering conversion as well. I used capt. fabs bracket. Getting the pulley offsets correct was a challenge. Everything was really, as I've never done anything like this. I built the exhaust from the headers back. They dump at rear axle. The motor was in the truck when I bought it. Its a tbi motor that I converted to hei and 4 barrel.

Nice work.
What will you do with all that room behind the seat?

Thanks for the compliment. There is no room behind the seats. They are literally shoved against the back of cab. Im 6'4" so needed everything I could get. Im working on a templet for a center console to go between the seats.

Great work! Bed wood turned out real nice. If you have any other photos of the project I am sure they would be appreciated, like your under bed tank and shortening the bed. What seats you using, look like bucket seats?
