79 K20, Firewall Insulation Pad
Who makes the best replacement firewall insulation pad?
Does anybody have any experience with aftermarket pads? I'm starting to put my 79, K20 back together and need a new pad. Looking at one from USA1 SKU: 17260. I don't want to end up with some piece of crap that I have to cut the holes in and just doesn't fit well. Thanks in advance

Re: 79 K20, Firewall Insulation Pad
I went with a Repops CT522. If I remember correctly I think I only had to add one additional hole due to some aftermarket wiring.
If you do need to trim the juke padding I found a good pair of electrical dykes worked best instead of a utility knife or sissors. https://www.jegs.com/i/Repops/629/CT522/10002/-1 |
