I am looking for an OEM snorkel type air cleaner that will fit a 72 C10 with the 4 bbl Rochester Quadrajet carb. I am in AZ but willing to pay shipping for the right one. One needing reconditioning is ok too.

Orange71shorty, the air cleaner that you have in your above post/reply #5 would not OE correct as pictured for IT Cowboys 72 C/10 BBC YG8 highlander pickup, the lower base may be close and work but that raised lid would not be correct. Here is another photo of a correct unit with original paint. This is an area where most restorers get it wrong, painting them semi gloss. As you can see, these are quite glossy, maybe not 100 percent gloss, but definitely 80 percent.

Is the heat stove piece for these hard to find. I live in AZ and probably do not need it and I am guessing a lot of them are not used or removed.

Yes, nice high end restoration quality OE 1970-72 BBC lower heat shield tins without rust/rot can be somewhat hard to find these days given how they were originally made and the constant heat cycles they were put through. We have sold several big block heat shield tin and stove pipe setups in our above linked (post//reply #9) long running BBC parts board f/s thread, the BBC Exhaust manifold heat shield tin and stove pipe setups are item #6 on the BBC parts list.
