Re: Ceramic Coatings.
I think it is worth doing if you have a street truck.

Re: Ceramic Coatings.
I really like Jet-Hot. I've used others and they are never as good quality wise.

Re: Ceramic Coatings.
What’s it like to apply? Not bad or is it a pain?

Re: Ceramic Coatings.
"You" dont apply it. You send it to Jet-Hot and have it done.

Re: Ceramic Coatings.
Gotcha. We don’t have a jet-hot. We have a place that does the auto triz ceramic coat. Costs an arm and a leg though.

Re: Ceramic Coatings.
I was not a believer in the ceramic until I tried it on my daily driver Tundra and it is nice. I did it myself using CQuartz and it isn't one of the longer-lasting coatings and maybe not professional quality. but it was easy to apply and it made cleanup easier.
I hate that the newer buzzword was ceramic for everything. They have ceramic spray on coatings and ceramic tire coatings (lol) and most of it is hype and snake oil. Opti-Seal spray-on is a good one that I like for a quick touch-up. For my 72 I just used Collinite double coat and I will probably re-do that every 6 months at least since it is garage kept and just needs a wipe down now and then.
