I guess everyone has only opinions. I guess if BFG quit making their KO2's and I needed some tires I would lean towards the Dick Cepek's Fun Country or Extreme Country. I like the look of the Cooper SST or something like that but they are much more expensive than the BFG's. I like the General Grabbers too and I have a couple sets of those. No complaints there. I recently looked at some Patagonia all terrains for my truck. They look nice and beefy but they only offer them in wide sizes and not the 235/85r16's that I wanted. Those are the only tires that strike my fancy.

BF Goodrich still makes the AT it is now the KO3. I too switched from the BFG KO AT to the Toyo Open Country Trail and couldn't be happier. I did some really tough trails just after buying them and was surprised how well they can climb.

Toyos last a lot longer than the BFG’s in my experience over the 10 or more sets of tires. The 35x12.5r20 toyo muds on my K2500 have about 50,000 on them and I can probably get atleast another 10,000 out of them. I’ve always been lucky to get 40,000 out of the bfgs.

I had really good luck with my Goodyear Duratracs, as have my parents on multiple trucks. I am really looking at the BFG HD TA KT. They are a newer tire though so it is hard to get real reviews.
