250 manifold install
I have several clamps that I believe are for the intake. The exhaust manifold has holes for studs Do clamps go on these as well.
If anyone has some schematics they could post, it would be much appreciated.

2 end uholez go on stud. The rest of the intake exhaust manifold share a special clamp and nut.

I got a pic off Chevy nova forum, I had it figured right. I had to take intake that I purchased to a machine shop to have a sheared bolt removed from where it bolts to exhaust. The guy suggested machining the area on intake heat exchanger then changed his mind and suggested using a good amount of gasket sealer on installation on it since machining it ma create a big gap. The intake area has some pitting. The old intake is pitted as well. Could 2 gaskets be used together? It has me a little worried.

This head has some type of alignment pin on each end instead of a stud ???

Yes. I have seen folks replace it with stud or a bolt, but what gm had works just fine

I am missing one small clamp , anyone sell these?
I do have 1 bigger one. Sure could use a pic to figure this out.

The End locator pins should be retained for a cast iron Exhaust manifold. The pins are threaded and after soaking with penetrating oil can be screwed Out. Tube headers usually require a threaded stud/nut for better clamping on the ends.
The rear threaded stud on your head is in the wrong hole. Head rebuilders, for some reason, always remove those studs, and for some other reason, they always fail to reinstall them. Your rebuilder put one in the wrong hole. I have tube headers and a Clifford intake, so I installed threaded studs in all eight holes. I think the long clamps go in the second hole from each end. The first hole from each end being the locator pins
