I think the only diesel available in a 90/9500 series with the steel 'butterfly' hood was the 6-71. You would need to find a data book from '78, '79, or '80 to find out for sure as the first year for the 6-71T in those trucks was 1978. The last year the steel side opening hood and fenders were available was 1980.
