Re: 1968 C10 Suburban

Have not posted in awhile 'cause I've not done anything but enjoy the 'Burb. The most recent picture is in June at The Rocky Mountain Streetrod Nationals. The others are in March on a garage tour with a local Car Club and an early Sunday morning Cars and Coffee downtown Canon City. And the last are a couple of our Tuesday Cruiseday with my local Car Club The Florence Road Angels that we do every week.

Re: 1968 C10 Suburban

I found a set of four new caps that fit ralley wheels at a swap meet last month. Then ordered some black Bowties stickers and put them on Today. May put the caps on the Suburban soon.

Re: 1968 C10 Suburban

I had some shiny caps similar to yours I tried to put stickers on but couldn’t get them quite centered so when the wheel spun the stickers looked wobbly. I gave up and tossed them

Re: 1968 C10 Suburban

I wish I had made sure the caps fit my wheels. I had no reason to think they wouldn't. Today I found out they were to big. I had been given two caps that had the bowtie stamped in just like GM did back in '68 for Police caps. After checking online I found a listing showing some were 7 1/2 inch and some were 6 15/16. I need the smaller. So I put the two that fit on the Driver side. I took this picture after that. Now I have a set of 4 that fit nothing I own.

Found two more on eBay and received them today. Now it looks the same from side to side.

Re: 1968 C10 Suburban

After wearing corded earbuds to listen to FM radio on my phone app I figured out I can listen through the bluetooth amp I have in the 'Burb as long as the cord is plugged in. The cord acts as an antenna.

Interesting.

I don't turn on the radios in any of my trucks because I can't really hear them through the speakers. Maybe I need something like this. It should work with my new hearing aids.
