I think a whole kit would be a good plan. Make sure you have a flywheel for an 11" clutch and make sure its got a nice surface and good teeth on the ring gear. (A machine shop can fix it up if its sub par.) Chevy had a few different clutches and mix n' match may not play well together. Napa, or any good parts store should be helpful. If you get it back apart again maybe post some pics of what you've got.
