Yep it doesn't seem like me to miss putting that adapter on, especially since I've had it on something before, so maybe the instructions said not needed long ago and I forgot that.

Not sure how long the carb. will stay sealed now that I added that resin insulator also, but the plate and quality gaskets are standing by just in case.

Re: Gas Pains!

Paid $6.89/9 for diesel today.. right at 20 gallons was $138. Gotta love Kalifornia!

I did get a chuckle out of going into the little store and picking up 1/2 gallon of milk, total was $5.49 so I handed the clerk a $20 and said here's the $5 then handed him a dollar and said here's the $.49....thought we were going to have to call in their accountant.

Re: Gas Pains!

Oooo man. That's enough reason right there for me to not own a diesel rig.

So many younguns these days cannot handle simple math in their head.

I remember when diesel fuel was cheaper than gasoline.

Me Too! But has not been for many years now. My first diesel was a 93 Dodge and fuel was less than bottom grade gasoline back then.

Right? I think that as "civilian" demand increased, it wasn't just truckers buying it. Supply and demand, maybe? I personally cannot stand the smell of diesel after working on farm tractors in the '70s.

Re: Gas Pains!

Another jump today. $3.19 for reg and $4.39 for diesel.
Long gone are the days of the penny or nickel increases.

Re: Gas Pains!

I feel as if I am back in high school today when I put gas in. I usually just fill gas tank to full on Avalanche but decided to just put 10 gallons in to lessen the pain.
