I'm from Modesto where George Lucas grew up. American Grafitti was a awesome movie. I live a short distance from Downey High(couple miles), and there's a monument dedicated to him downtown.
My folks grew up here, and were about 4 years old in '62. Growing up I went to all the Graffiti car shows held downtown each yaer in the summer, and for the last 2 years I have entered my truck in the car shows. Last year Bo Hopkins (Pharoah's car club leader) & Candy Clark (Toad's girlfriend) were here in town with John Milner's '32 Ford signing autograpghs for the 30 yer anniversary. I deleted last years pics of them with the '32 Ford. I stilll got this years up on webshots. A kid I grew up with his Dad was a Pharoah car club member, and still had the jacket with his '49 merc ledsled.
