F/s 67 Gmc C15 Longstep Lots Of Parts
I've decided to sell my 67 GMC to clear out my garage for now. I will post some pics, but here's my best description of the truck. It has a very solid frame, the front clip is solid with just a little rust in the bottom of the inner fender, outer fender and rad. support under the battery tray. The 67-68 hood is in very good shape, it just needs a little work on the front (small dent), but there's no rust in it. The cab is very solid, the cab corners and rear floor need a little attention. The rockers are okay, the rest of the floor is pretty solid. In the pics you will see a couple of patches here and there that the P/O put in. The bedsides are solid other than a little rust where the fenders bolt to it. Other than that the bedsides are in pretty good shape. The step fenders have no rust, but are both dented up a bit. Nothing beyond repair, but they both need some work. All the glass in the cab is in good shape, the doors are solid, and the window mechanisms and door latch mechanisms work very well. The truck also has the original tach gauge cluster in it for a V8, which I am selling seperately unless the person who buys the truck wants it. I also have the automatic steering column which will go with the truck. It has the auto tranny crossmember in the frame, and a 12-bolt 3.73:1 open diff. The cab is currently setting on the frame and the front clip is off the truck. I have no title for the truck, but will provide the buyer with a bill of sale that should enable them to apply for a clear vehicle title in their state. I'm asking $500 for the truck w/o the tach dash cluster.

Zoomy, I still have the 454, sold the TH400 do my dad. If you are interested in the 454 it's a '78 truck motor. It has not been rebuilt as far as I can tell, but it ran excellent, still had the original intake, carb, exhaust manifolds on it. I took the carb & intake off as well as the water pump and harmonic balancer and exh. manifolds to clean it up and give it a good paint job. I would sell the motor complete with intake, carb, water pump, a new mech. fuel pump, HEI, exhaust manifolds, alternator, and BBC power steering pump for $600. If you're interested let me know and I can get a couple of pics to email to you.

Just a quick note, there are a couple of other parts that I forgot to put on the thread. I also have an excellent set of reverse/backup lights with the brackets for a stepside, $40 to your door.
I have a complete set of front bumper brackets for a 67-70, in good shape, I'll take $35 shipped to your door. As before, please email me at mhavanwyk@msn.com if you're interested in any of these parts and I will reply to your email and attach pics. Thanks! 72ChevyRock, the remainaing steering wheel that I have is off of a '78 Chevy steering column, I assume it would mount on a '67-72 chevy steering column.
It's in good condition with no cracks or gouges in the wheel and includes the centercap and horn mechanism. 67ChevyC10Stepside, I will attach pics of the backup lights to this reply for you. Anyone else, I still have the 73-87 BBC Frame Towers, which can be adapted for use on a 67-72 by using a spacer on the top frame rail. I will sell these for $40 plus shipping. I also have a set of 71-72 1/2 ton disc brake spindles I was going to use on my project, but since I've sold the truck I now have no use for them. I will sell them for $75 plus shipping. I also still have the lift kit and the 67-70 front bumper brackets. Last edited by 72bigblock4wd; 09-06-2004 at 11:37 AM. |
