pinion seal leak....
i was wondering what can cause a pinion seal leak? when i bought my truck it had a pinion seal leak. i fixed it ( at the dealership mind you! ) and it worked great. no leaks. :p now about 2 months, and about 600 miles, and i have it back again! could it be that the pinion gear itself is worn at the shaft and it is causeing the leak? i haven't done any hauling or hard driveing. it is 2 wheel drive by the way. any thoughts?

It is possible that your yoke seal surface is bad and it is tearing the seal up. Before changing the seal, make sure the axle vent is open to the rear end. If it is plugged, you will build up pressure inside the differential and force lube out of the seals.
