backspacing
Hi guys,
just got off the phone with some guys about some wheels for the '85. He told me that at stock ride height, neither 17x8 nor 20x8 wheels will not work b/c the ones they sell are a 5" backspace. He said that only works on a lowered truck. He said stock, you must get 4" BS wheels. Is this correct and if so, explain to me why... Can you run a spacer to make the wheels fit right? thanks jason |

I dont know why it wouldn't work. They would look a little wierd, because the would be poking in toward the framerails a little more than stock....
Measure your stock backspace, then compare. |
