Question Wire Harness Repair?

Can the wire/blade terminals be removed and replaced in the under hood harness connector where it plugs in to the fuse block on the fire wall? I hope that makes sense. I have a few crunchy wires and I really don't want to splice them or buy a new harness. Any suggestions?

remove the screw in the center of the hard plastic plug under the hood....
pull stright out.....you will be holding it all in your hand....
place a very small pocket screw driver in the front top....and pull from the rear....should pull right out.....the new connector will need that little raised metal tab to hold back into the connector....
you will need to look around to find them...if you don't have any

Do you mean screw driver in the side with the wire and pull on the blade/terminal, sorry I'm confused.

The answer to you question is yes. It's not hard at all. The terminals are G.M. 56 series terminals. You might be able to find them at PEP boys. Otherwise, http://www.madelectrical.com/catalog/flat-blade.shtml

I added several circuits to my truck through the bulkhead connector using these. I also picked an empty connection and ran a solid (connectors can't handle it) 10 guage power source to a distribution block ( http://www.madelectrical.com/catalog/cn-1.shtml ) mounted on a fabed panel and fuse box under the dash.
