Stainless vent shades......

How do the attach to the door. Any body have pics?

Some of them used screw that attached from underneath....

Last ones I used were slip fit behind the window channel wiskers..

Ive got a pair for my 85 I had to drill holes for them and attach with small 1/4 head screws

Drill holes in the door? I test fit the driver side today and the holes lined up with the bottom round part of the door...is that right? After drilling holes how would I keep it from rusting?

after drilling the holes just put a little touch up paint over the holes then put in the vent shades and screw em tite

or don't use em.
Just kidding, vent shades are nice for people who smoke (like my dad). I don't see why people shave the drip sills off either, then you can't crack the windows when it rains

I just shot screws into mine never thought about it When i get it back it will have paint in the holes though
