Installed my S-10 weatherstripping on my 71
Yesterday I received the S-10 weatherstripping that I ordered from GMC Paul's. I removed my original weatherstripping and installed the new stuff. It went on like a dream. I am very impressed. If anyone else is thinking about this I definitely recommend it.

They are good looking seals. How do your doors shut?

I have been thinking about using those on my Burb. The only thing I'm not sure about is how the seal will behave when bent into the 90 degree corner at the back of the door. Please post some pics of your installation if you get a chance.

The doors shut hard right now, but that is to be expected with new weatherstripping. I expect it to get better after they have sat for a month or 2.
I was impressed with the way they made the corner. I will post pictures when I get home tonight.

I bought those for my K20 also. Should be installing them before too long. Will look forward to seeing your pics, glad to hear the install is simple.

I put S-10 weather striping in my 68. The install was easy and the end results are great! I would highly recomend this mod. But the doors do shut a little hard, like stated above hoping this will get easier over the next few months.

Do these just push on with out glue?
Did you need the help of a rubber hammer to install them?

No glue or hammer is needed. They need cut to fit like the oem door seal.
