question about rear ratio?
ok i blew my dana 60 that has 4:10s but i was wondering will a 3:55 or 3:73 help with my et? the 410s pull hard but it rins out of gear way too quick at 60 im pulling 3500 rpms and that sucks bigtime . now i know the new gears will hepl the cruzin proplem but i dont want my truck to become a slug neither
the moter specks are in my sig and which would u recomend the 3:55 or 3:73? thabks -kyle

A 3.55 or 3.73 isn't going to help your e.t., compared to the 4.10s you used to have- it depends what's more important to you I guess, acceleration or lower r.p.m.s on the highway, a 3.73 is probably a good compromise, and you could always use a shorter profile tire at the drag-strip, effectively giving you a lower gear ratio. Just my.02.
