Another weird combination

I have a 72 C-20 that has a cargo light switch inside, but no cargo light, ever see this before?

has it been repainted? They may have filled in the hole for somwe crazy reason or another.
Where is the cargo light switch? If it is under the dome light and slides left to right, it is the correct one.
Also, some one may have been getting ready to install one and chainged there mind.
What does the clove box say about this?

The switch is right under and center with the dome light and its a correct switch. The truck hasn't been painted. I think one door and half one bedside were the only things painted. Its a Cali truck I bought about 3 years ago. I looked in the glove box but can't remember what it said, i'll look when I get home.

The truck was pretty much a prestine truck. The guy that had it before, I can't see him cutting a hole and sticking this switch in it. I may pull the switch out and see if it looks like factory stamped or some saws-all butchered cut should tell the tale.
