Cool Looks GREAT so far

Bah! Neighbors, shneighbors!! That's what garages are for!!

Looking good man! I want to paint my truck, but unfortunetly I have no garage to work in, to keep the damn flies, dirt, and kids off the paint! I'm in the market for a new house, and hopefully with a new garage!!

Keep up the good work, and keep us supplied in progress photos

I stapled up clear plastic on the ceiling and the walls. and closed the garage door all but about a foot and put two fans on the corners to bloww out the overspray and fumes. The neighbors dont care.

Good way to do it! Turn your garage into a temporary paint shop, ditch the plastic afterwards, and 'yer wife stays happy too with no orange and white paint all over the walls!

The picture doent show the true color. The picture makes it look on the red side.

I mixed this color up . its a hugger orange without the red, black and white tint.

it glows, it will accualy throw a orange glow on the garage ceiling.

I ordered a white houndstooth interior for it , I have everything you dont see new in boxes that I will install so my wife can have the spare bedroom back.

Then my next project is a 1970 doge charger that is under the tarp next to the truck.

that looks real sharp man.
While I have also painted like that, remember that window fans create sparks, and that could lead to slight problems as the flamable air flows through it.

I used to do production paint work for about 3 dozen dealerships in the Dallas/Fort Worth area... basically the old Chevy ZY5 two tone, and that 80's style fade paintjob nonsense. I did the vast majority of the work in a partner's driveway-- in a pretty upscale neighborhood, on a sloped driveway in front of the garage, with a wing wall off the side of the garage that caused a dirt/leaf/bug vortex that swirled about 6 feet behind my wet paint

Why wasn't I in the garage? The partner had one of those overpriced German-made rubber floors. We weren't allowed to sully the floor

What did the neighbors say? Apparently they didn't like the gasseous cloud of VOCs floating into their yard, nor did they apparently appreciate the overspray that dimmed their windows. Oops... but that was in my youth. I'm more respectful now .

I've got goodmark bedsides too. I have a problem with the spot welds on mine. I'll have to take some pics and post them. Do you like their fit?

Your truck looks great! I have always been a fan of hugger orange, since my first car, 69 camaro.

Nice looking truck that two tone looks sweet, I spent alot of time in Seymour over the past few years for work. Have you ever had a tenderloin from Betty's townhouse? One of the best I have ever had I try to go there when ever I am in town.
