Looking great! Lucky it still will fit in the garage, mine wouldn't fit after the initial 4" lift. Those Boggers look real good on there - can't wait to see the fenders back on.

thanks guys, yeah pont that steering stabilizer i got from suspension connection. i think they look better than the side by side ones. yukon it will prob be a while till get fenders on as gonna be shut down this winter as no heat in garage, actually garage was converted deck underneath and dont even have door but least it will keep snow from getting on it till spring. hopefully by next summer ill be able to drive it. since its gonna be stored all winter what do you guys think bout this. i got no oil in motor yet or differentials just the assembly lube used to put stuff together with. should i put oil in to decrease chance of stuff rusting or will it be ok till spring with no fluids in it? the cylinders i just sprayed down with wd-40 before assembly.

did you pull the cab to get at the frame underneath or did you just clean up the front end etc and paint it?

thats an awesome truck... you did an awesome job on the frame/engind comp.
i regret selling my 3/4 ton, it seemed like it was alot more complicated to lift it, with the rockwell t-case, and 2 piece driveshaft. it also had wierd 1" blocks that appeared to be stock? who knows. it would have been fun though. this is motivating me to order a lift for 71... but its almost to late for this year, have to have it for the winter. |
