Im Restoring A 58 Chevy Shortbed Fleetside Im In Need Of A Left Bedside Preferably Close To Me In Northwest Missouri If Not I Will Travel. :

man, good luck!!! The shorty fleetside bedside are extremely hard to come by. If I could talk the wife into swapping hers out for a tepside I would have one for you, but that isn't likely to happen. But I do wish you luck in your search bud

My grandpa did have a fleetside SWB bed that had came off his 59 when he first got it.
But I cant remember if he still has it or not...although it wasnt in that good of shape to start with, it still could have been fixed (surface rust with pits, no holes if I remember correctly). He had sold all the chrome and tail light stuff off of it long ago..but he may still have the bed. Ill ask him, but I imagine your looking for something in a little better shape and closer.

He still has the bed, I checked this morning. I didnt get a real good look at it (didnt feel like getting snake bit trying to go between the cars and weeds to get to it). It doesnt seem to have any rusty holes on the sides...but does have the surface rust I was talking about (in some spots, rest is just chipped paint). There is one hole on the "bottom", (bottom of the bed side) where the brace bolts. The bed is turned upside down, and is sitting on blocks...so I dont think the top of the bed would be rusted bad, since its off the ground.
