Re: Low 72 progress pics...

That looks really good......makes the old door look like an air brake off a fighter!

After we left Los Pick-a Parto I was thinking that it would be a good place to practice chopping tops if we bring enough batteries!

The new door looks way better. Nice job of fitting it in there. How did the aircraft stripper work for ya? Did it do a good job?

Re: Low 72 progress pics...

Nice! I like how it lines up w/ the marker light. I spent a lot of time deciding on placement when I cut the door in on my truck's bedside. Looks like you got it spot-on

What year and what are the HP#'s? I just picked up an 05 Vortec 5.3/4L60E for a new shop truck but know nothing about the HP#'s. It really does not matter because this thing will not weigh very much but will be one smooth ride. Here is the before and the look I am going for. I just ordered a TCI MII front end with Power rack, Disk brakes, Sway bar and air bags. For the rear I have a 95 T-Bird 8.8 IRS with Disk, Sway and Bags as well. This will be my son's first truck in another 15yrs but if I just let it sit it will be a pile of rust so I figure might as well cash in on the Patina fad for now and get it on the road.

Re: Low 72 progress pics...

Awesome Build!!! I saw the pics of the truck when you had seats in it... Do you have any of the full interior? I want to do the exact same set up, with the 3rd row suburban and the front bench with integrated seat belts...
