Re: Film Guy Project Build Thread........
Please just tell me that you are still going to run that nice looking woodgrain trim???? It would be the icing on the cake. I look at the truck with it on, and it just is plain sick looking with that smooth of black paint.

Re: Film Guy Project Build Thread........
Yep, he's been here a while.
Chris came to TX to help in the fabrication area @ the shop. W/the shop now closed, Chris packed up & moved back to sunny AZ. I'll miss him..... He was an excellent fabricator & decent young'gun.

Re: Film Guy Project Build Thread........
Well, The man he works for has a couple of airplane hangers full of cars and Ron keeps them up and running (translation= he drives the crap out of them) some of these cars have funny Italian names (Ron has worked on a lot of exotic cars in the past) He also helps the two race teams with whatever they need, turning wrenches, driving to the races or getting one of the semi's cleaned up. He basically gets to play with cars all day and get paid for it.... if he ever stays in one place long enough maybe he will let tell us all the cool stuff he gets to play with.......it couldn't have happened to a nicer deserving guy......

Re: Film Guy Project Build Thread........
Hi Guys, Hope all is well with everyone. I haven't stopped by here in quite a while. I've been out of town a lot and my time seems to be rather limited these days. My truck project has started to move along after quite a break. I have it at the body shop getting the paint and body work done. I must say, Jeff Kegans (body shop owner/operator) is going above and beyond what I ever expected on this job. He is very excited about this project and is putting forth his best effort. This, in my opinion, is very hard to find these days. He has the cab on a jig and the bed on a stand and parts scattered all over the shop right now and it's not much to look at. But I will post some pics when I got something to show you guys. That's about it for now, I'm headed to Las Vegas tonight. We will be at Barrett Jackson the rest of the week buying cars. Watch for me on TV. I'll be the guy wearing the big smile!
