It's easier to test fit the parts if the truck is there, . Plus, if you get bored you can always start working on it...............

That'll be the only way for me to get Tim and Mike to help out. We could do an "Overhaulin" episode like they did at SEMA; and I know you can get a MAC flight up here

You bringing a truck or VW Jetta to Carlisle? I could use that floor about then....

Re: Tri-Pro's "Project GPW"

Hey Jon, I just wanted to say thanks for showing me around last week and letting me take a close-up look at the truck. The visit and this build thread gave me inspiration to get working on my truck again.
I started cutting out my old floor and the other rusted pieces.
That lower a-pillar area is a complicated little place. Everything seems to meet there.

Barry; my pleasure.

I think there's a thread on doing the A-Pillar by Lewis Fabrication; or it's part of his rocker replacement thread.....good pictures.

Beer did I see somebody said there will be Beer. I tell you what that makes my plans alittle easier to make now knowing I might get a Beer out of the deal.
I am planning on being there, if everything down here works out.

Re: Tri-Pro's "Project GPW"

I couldn't get factory top radiator mounts to work correctly so I decided to fabricate these out of flat stock and weld them to the tanks. I'll put rubber sheets between them and the core support and bolt them through the vertical uprights

need a little more polishing but you get the idea
