Re: 4D'S "63" GMC Build
you know when Brutus stabbed Julius Caesar (they were good friends) Caesar said "ET TU, BRUTE? THEN FALL CAESAR!!" (You too Brutus? he is shocked and hurt by the betrayal of his good friend and is prepared to die at that point)
come on, you know what i'm talking about.........awww, never mind....

Wow, Joe! You go from teaching Spanish in one thread to teaching Literature and Latin in another. You, my friend, are a well rounded individual.

Re: 4D'S "63" GMC Build
Well now I'm laid up after spraining my ankle, out of work till next Monday.
I guess I'll post a couple of pictures of some minor work I did this past weekend, and still no exhaust. re-wired the running lights and headlights and everything worked, go figure. Thanks to Tony for the running light socket. Also since money is tight I thought I would tinker with the tailgate it needs to be re-placed but for now we just fixed what we could. turned out okay for now. And I think I finnally got the hood ready.

Hate to hear about your ankle but glad the truck is making some progress.

Re: 4D'S "63" GMC Build
Man that front end is just awesome. I'm just digging that glossyness of the front bumper and grill on that black primer. Ok, I'm a little odd, but I dig it.
Sorry about your ankle man. I hurt mine a few years back and the best thing for it was the air cast. Night and day difference over an ace bandage. Please tell me thats not going to be your trailer hauler. |

Re: 4D'S "63" GMC Build
Just a suggestion.....
Since you dont have any blinker lenses in yer hood.....Get some smoked lexan and make some lenses. It would look cool all blacked out!

Re: 4D'S "63" GMC Build
I got the clear ones, too.
Lexan is the stuff that they use for helmet visors, windshields on race cars, etc.

Re: 4D'S "63" GMC Build
x2 on the air cast for the ankle. I got crutches when I sprained mine last year. About a week into it a friend lent me his air cast and it was a night and day difference.
The truck is looking good. |
