thanks, I am just cheap so that was the motivator, plus I was told I couldn't do it and that always gets me going.

Yes this little guy comes in handy. My biggest concern while I was doing this was to keep it straight and this little edge worked great.

I have them on mine, I think I got them from CCP on sale a few years ago. They are designed for step sides, with Fleetside you need to make a plate on the bed sides to get the hole out flush with the tailgate. I also used mine to hold the cable I installed.

I am lining up the body parts for final fitting and found some issues. here is the fender, door and cab at the passenger side.
have a scrap fender for parts and here is my fix. |

Thanks, Bam it is starting to look like there is an end to this soon.
No kidding it is crazy how much better the stuff on my 55 car fits, its like the trucks were all built at 5 on Friday and all the "give a $#@!" ran out at the factory. |
