Re: Project 67
Got the cleaner smaller profiled 93 Van marker lights for a different look than stock. Also the fuel access panel arrived. 5 X 8 overall outside measurements. Made of stainless should work fine. May end up replacing the huge lock with a key type when finished.

Looks like it has come a long way from where you started.
Only hope mine will look half as good as what you have done to yours. Nice idea on the fuel door in the bed area.

Re: Project 67
My heater in the garage is awaiting a circuit board part and the heater guy. Not good for "Odd Ball".. Next stop working on the air management side of the suspension, parts are in shipment.

Re: Project 67
Recently talked with the shop that done my bench seat and other interior work for me. Reference to seat belt webbing. Black webbing material if it is the correct width he didn't know for sure but suspected it was. He had re-webbed his Cuda belts. Claims he uses the correct thread for them to be safe. Early spring thaw, I will let them re-web a set of 67 belts.

Re: Project 67
Yes, almost next door. With the cold pretty much a lull on the project. Spring is around the corner though. I am the VP for the Leadbelt Cruisers in Bonne Terre. Not a big car club that meets in the summer at Dairy Queen. As time draws near you should attend and meet some of the family's. Some don't even have a vehicle but just go to jaw jack and comment on cars, trucks, n politics. Typical small country town gossip.

Re: Project 67
No doubt spring weather will allow a new interest in the project. So still so much to do. I have the steering coupler may first reinstall the steering column.

Re: Project 67
If weather is kind I may get more done. I now have everything for the AccuAir System I need. Using the SwitchSpeed controller. Once placed determine what clamps/protective covering I will use to secure it all. Since not enough room behind the bench seat most likely end up next to the head board in the bed. Then likely a covered bed to keep sticky hands away.

Re: Project 67
This system should work great for my needs. One thing I have noticed is there is no pressure gauge for anything. I am thinking of adding a single gauge for tank pressure for assurance of peace of mind. Just unsure yet where I put it. On the tank itself or remote it elsewhere. I have a Viair 0-220 PSI gauge and will likely use that.
Been a slow process but I have more time than funds ha ha.

Re: Project 67
Little update, the truck is still parked in the garage at Sammy's, other than collecting dust since the last post it hasn't changed much. There is a set of tan hounds tooth covered buddy buckets for it now. But Sammy experienced a disabling stroke a couple of years ago and has been battling since. He was in and out of hospitals for a year, he was able to return home only to experience a bad infection and bouncing from hospital to hospital. He is currently in a VA care center and expecting to be discharged soon. The bad news is he will not be returning home. I have all intentions to take the project over from him and get it on the road but that will take some time. So keep him in mind.
