I am a huge fan of your build as well, that grille you made is sick!

Thanks... Mines a rather low tech build compared to most on here. No bags or 22's on mine. Lol

Mine too, I have been thinking of ways to set mine apart from the rest. You have definitely done that with yours. I have a few ideas so far that will be revealed after I get started putting the body back together.

Re: 71' (gonna be) a one of a kind custom
Hey guys! I am back on the build, thank God! Ordered my rear brakes yesterday, should be here tomorrow. Then one more wheel paid off and it's off to the powder coater. In case I neglected to mention, I have a coater willing to do my two-tone scheme on my wheels and what I have seen of his work, he is top notch! Very excited! Also sending him my calipers to be customized, as well as my rear axle housing, engine perches, and trans crossmember. Pics on the way in the coming days!

Re: 71' (gonna be) a one of a kind custom
Those came via Summit part number 140-12569D not too bad for $769.99 the one problem i do have is that these rotors are black and i am not sure i will be able to find some fronts to match.

http://brakeperformance.com/brake-ro...ake-Rotors.php I just searched a '75 model C10, but I wasn't sure exactly what rotors work on your particular CPP spindles. I have the black coated dimpled/slotted Brake Performance rotors on my daily driver '05 GMC, and they are nice quality.

Re: 71' (gonna be) a one of a kind custom
What's that? Glad you asked, that happens to be a box full of parts that, along with my wheels, trans crossmember, and rear axle, are about to be headed to my powder coater! Can't get too excited though, as i won't see them again for almost a month due to the complex scheme he is doing for me.

Re: 71' (gonna be) a one of a kind custom
Nothing has made it to the powder coater yet, had been waiting for these to show up.....
Had to wait for those because I needed to make sure those stems were long enough to reach the threads of the caps...... They didn't reach. So I had to "trim" them down....... Good news is, the stems fit the wheels perfectly. And the caps look awesome!!!!!! Although, they are kinda hard to get back off, lol
