I'm impressed that you have kept this going for 3 years Rusty, and a little worried that you have created yet another distraction to getting work done on my truck. My build fits this category as well. It will be a very long build due to a nonexistent budget, but will hopefully at least be functional within a month. Long term project goal is just to have a cool functional truck that is restored to a level that my wife will actually ride in it.

In my opinion, they beauty of a budget build is that the owner does the work himself and is proud of what he accomplishes. That right there is worth more than a car show trophy.

Feel free to check out my Jeep build that is linked below as well. That was built on a similar budget. That is why the build took 4 years.

Awesome dude. Glad you liked it. I will be checking out your builds later on. It is really hard to believe that this thread is 3 years old or so. When I first came on here I was looking for low budget builds. And there were right many, but I had to really dig for them. I like most of the builds on here and spend way too much time looking and going through them dreaming.......Each build is unique and has it's own sets of challenges. There are definitely some high dollar builds but even those I find inspiration as well. Cheap is relative here when it comes to low budget. There is the two thousand build and the more like five thousand build as well. We each have our own budget to work with.
