Re: Roll call for the 66's!
Just got it on the ground yesterday after being on jack stands for a couple of months. Rebuilt rear end, lowering springs and shocks, lowering blocks, drop spindles and front disc brakes. Couldn't be happier with the new attitude adjustment.

Re: Roll call for the 66's!
Current status......l
Engine and box out on Saturday. Pulled the truck forward, jacked up and put an axle stand under the chassis, then removed the front wheel and proceeded to scrape all the years of congealed sand, grease etc from all the suspension parts and chassis. Not a hard job, but it just takes a lot of time to do right. A long knive, along with some scrapers, screwdrivers and a steel brush brought me to the point where the next step will be cleaning the oily bits with some petrol and then some Gunk followed by a pressure cleaner. Bit of a change from two years ago. It has taken on a who.e financial life of its own now.

Re: Roll call for the 66's!
I dig your C20, nailpounder! You should cruise it down to the Brother's Truck Show next year.

Re: Roll call for the 66's!
Thanks Argonaut, we like "Thumper" too. My daughter & I have logged a lot of hours on it. We will probably be at Brothers this year now that it's on the road again.
