Hey James, thanks for the complement and for stopping by the thread. I am good here just working a lot. Not a lot of progress on other things I'd rather be working on....eventually.

Re: 1969 Short Wide
Hey been catching up on some old builds that I followed when I was active on mine. Man how well I enjoyed catching up reading yours. The truck turned out great and the ride height is perfect. That is the height I eventually what to get mine/son's to.

Re: 1969 Short Wide
Thanks! I have enjoyed driving it for the last year. It's a blast. The suspension is 3" lower up front with lower height tires and 5" lowering springs in the rear. It rides really good but I do plan on upgrading my shocks and more importantly my brakes. None the less, I love driving it and look for reasons to take it out. |

Re: 1969 Short Wide
What are the tire size combination are you running? I have the 7 in wheels for the front just need to clean them up some.

Re: 1969 Short Wide
I'm running 225-70-15 up front and 275-60-15 in the rear. I would love to have some 7" rally wheels myself. I'm wondering if you run those would you need to run a 225-60-15 instead? Maybe a little wider? I'm not sure the 1/2" would make any difference....

Re: 1969 Short Wide
Thanks jlansborn.
Sorry Jason, we didn't get there till late afternoon. I think around 3:00. There was a bunch of really nice rides. I didn't have any plans to show my truck but it was only $10 more to park inside the ropes so we did. |
