Re: Show us you're seats
Procars with a custom console. By far some of the most comfy seats in anything, well worth the big pricetag. Increased leg room, back support, and since I've had 3 bones removed from my back, its strangely one of the few vehicles I can do longer hauls in.

Not sure what it came out of but it is comfortable. The back is a 60/40 split.

Here's my seat in the '65. (disregard the "go kart steering wheel", have a stock deluxe steering wheel to put on it)

I somehow missed this one. I have to agree.....I'm a big fan of the houndstooth as well as buddy buckets.

Re: Show us you're seats
Anyone ever try some of those newer silverado seats Like verdell's '95 seats with original 60s style upholstery?? That's what I wanna do and I wanna see if it's been done so I can see what they might look like...

Re: Show us you're seats
Mine are out of a '66 GMC. There are a couple of Jimmy owners on the boards that have these seats. The 67-68 chevy buddy buckets are more prevalent, but the center seat on those does not come up as high as the GMC model.

Re: Show us you're seats
Another useful thread.
HOW WIDE and HOW DEEP, and TALL are these bench seats ? The reason I am asking is so that I know what size Mexican blanket to buy...... Nicola wants one. My plan is to diamond stitch one to a regular cheapish seatcover and then fit, rather than drape it over and always having it distort. Here is the seat from the truck I am investigating at the moment..... reupholstered in Snakeskin fabric. I actually quite like it. |

Re: Show us you're seats
MisterC, are those 67-72 seats? Did the seat base line up good? I know the 66 GMC came with buddy buckets, wasn't sure if 67-72 seat base mounts up well. Nice seats!

Re: Show us you're seats
They are the 66 GMC buddy buckets. Mounts lined up like they were made for it.

Re: Show us you're seats
Anyone know what's good in a late model bench that would fit a 1965 C10 60/40 split, solid, or with a folding arm/ center console. No buckets cause I like my girl to snuggle up to me in the truck lol

Re: Show us you're seats
Seat is done. Blue vinyl with light grey cloth and some white inserts. Inspired by original custom seat out of 63.
