Re: 1965 chevy truck one piece @a time
worked on the frame to day have a grease fitting broken off in the lower
a frame was a easy fix with an old flat tip screw driver filed down to use a a easy out and replace oll the fitting . putt the steering back on not sure if its right the stearing rod the tie rods mount to dose not look straight. its angeled a littl bit to much for my liking not sure if i need to use a 70-72 mount and not the 65 that i redrilled on the frame ? |

Great job getting everything in primer. I would say that's some huge progress.

Love all those Comp parts. Vote here for the Aluminum heads you won't regret it.
I see you did some repair on the top above the windshield. Was it difficult? I have some pin holes on the driver side in the same area. Bret

Re: 1965 chevy truck one piece @a time
Thanks Bret . i got a good deal on the motor. it was in a running 70 swb
the owner wanted more power and built a blower motor. it sounds real healthy and it only has 1,800 miles on the motor . so it looks like i'm going to sell off some extra part i've gathered. that was going non air to now having ac in the truck will start posting some stuff in a couple of weeks that i have extra ... |
