Re: 68 Four door build
Well I hate to admit it but I went to work on the truck at 5PM sunday night and just got home at 5 AM monday morning and all because I didnt like the way the hinges work on the passenger rear door.
So I cut up a perfect 3rd door, I really didnt like doing that but its too late now. 12 hours later and all I have to show is a butcherd up door that works now. On the inside of the door I still plan on using a full window so I need all the room I can get in there for the window to come down and not hit any thing. |

Re: 68 Four door build
A few more pictures.
It doesnt show it here but I cut the front part of the door out and installed the rear part of a drivers door with the latch in it. |

Re: 68 Four door build
Maybe I'm seeing the pictures wrong, but are both of the rear doors hinged the same way, or does one open forward and the other open rearward?

Re: 68 Four door build
I know you say you feel like you're moving slow but this really is tremendous progress. This isn't a simple build.....you're not only doing a restoration...you're engineering new parts. Nice work!
