Little update…. Got all new cab mounts installed. Sprayed cavity wax inside all the nooks and cranny’s of the cab I could get. Got most of my interior stuff cleaned and painted. Installed new brake booster I got off the board here. Got the rad support and inner fenders painted. The outer part of the inner fenders I sprayed with the same textured liner I did under the cab. Also got both fenders finished up with the trim and badges. They are ready to be hung. Next step is to get as much stuff done on the firewall area and windshield in before I start hanging the front clip. Fourth door is hopefully going on tomorrow night. I love seeing this thing painted but now it seems to take twice as long when working on it cuz I’m trying to be extra careful around that fresh paint.

Awesome! I'm definitely sure it will take twice as long now it's painted. It sure is a bad feeling to put that first knick in let a lone a scratch.

Started putting some sound deadner in behind the gas tank. Reasonable priced stuff and makes a nice difference if you knock on backside of cab. Happy with it. Got my dash pad installed along with my OEM steering wheel and horn button. The wheel isn’t perfect and has some scuffs but no cracks. Nothing beats an OEM wheel. Maybe someday I’ll come across a better one to swap out. Got the gas tank installed as well. Had to put the small corner trim on before I got tank in so you get a taste of what trim looks like. Also finally got the 4th door hung and adjusted so now we got a complete 4 door cab.

Slow progress in the reassembly. Most of the under dash stuff is done. Need to get my vintage ac plumbed. Did restore my gauge cluster and temporarily install. Woodgrain really pops against the white dash..

Thank you. Was gonna do a blue wheel but never found a nice enough original. This black one is sickest I can find. My original intent was a Highlander interior and the column and wheel should of been black but I’m doing woodgrain cheyenne super interior instead.. souks look nice with all the blue accents

Got my original AM/FM installed lastnight. I will send this out to get rebuilt and updated at a later date. Just one more nice factory option for the ole rig.

Started installing the upper and lower trim on the cab this weekend. Still gotta finish up the drivers side but passenger side is done. Rolled in the sun a bit and man is it pretty. Used mar-K trim on this build and am super pleased with it. From afar your can’t even tell I shortened the trim on the rear doors… also tossed the new carpet in to see how high to take the sound deadner. Had to snap a pic

Got the windshield and trim finally installed. Wrapped up some more stuff in the engine compartment. Ground straps mounted behind engine and finished running brake lines to the master cylinder. Finally time to hang the front fenders. It was worth the wait… rolled outside for the last time for some pics. I plan on driving it out under own power next go around
