Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
El Rondo, Its Gunned Satin. The P.O. did the work, was gonna Rat Rod it somewhat. It does have 3 small dents that were not taken care of before paint. Will take care of them. The P.O. said to his knowledge it was an AZ Truck, and the undercarage and body look the part. Didn't get much windshield time last fall. Winter came early in Michigan, and it still has its grip on us.
The truck came out of the factory with a 327, but has a 350 now and power steering with drums. The P.O. put Firestone winterforce skins on it because he was gonna run it all year but felt it was to nice of a truck to put it through the winter salt on ours roads. |

Creekncabin: Don't sweat the dents...that is one good lookin' daily driver, dents and all. I don't know 'bout you, but mine is a work truck, and I want a truck I can run in and not have to sweat all the perfection. Workin' guy truck is gonna have a few dents, yea? I got a big repair "cancer" on the side of mine, and I've decided to have a rat fink lookin' bird point it out rather than hide it. Think I'll paint him this week on the door.

This is my first american car, I have been into aircooled VW for years and still is! But i have wanted a old Chevy Pickup for years, so now in a few day I will get it! My plans are: Have to lower it, move fueltank to under bed, and try to enjoy it! What i know about it: 350, TH400, 12 bolt axle, front diskbrakes, 20" American Racing, 3 seater - no bench. When I get it I will make a own thread with more pictures! Last edited by GeirJB; 03-19-2014 at 12:57 PM. |
