Sorry for the sidebar, Keith do you know what years that grill was offered? That looks like a '77, I have that grill on my '79 but I bought it so long ago I don't recall how it was advertised.

Re: How many 2wd Blazers do we have?

The blazer appears to be a '77.
I'm not sure about the grille.

ive seen alot of laid out k5's with the back seat still there. some people raise the floor in the rear and mount the back seat to the floor. you can see on the black blazer a few post back that it still has a back seat. by the way.....love your blz...if your thinking of baggin it. bag the front first as low as you are gonna go, then measure how much you need in the rear...it could be all you will need is a c-notch, which will leave the rear floor untouched. i dont think you would have to worry about driveshaft clearance either(no tubs needed)

Re: How many 2wd Blazers do we have?

It depends on what you call a back seat.....
With my notch and cover it going to take a smaller seat, stoc one will sit to high.

That's a sweet blazer! The wheels are really sucked in though. Maybe too much in my opinion. Does anyone know how this was accomplished?

You have to be able to clear the narrowest part of the front fender, when lay'd out.
In this case,... its the top of the fender,... NOT the part of the fender that flares out (at the moulding).
Plus to drive and turn low,... the tire turn inside the fender, NOT thru the wheel opening.

Could also be the porterbuilt front end or something comparable.. It will narrow the front I think a inch and a half on each side.

Next year mine is going to get a new motor and also install the new drop member kit I have for it.. So at least the front will be bagged..

i think your right, most likely it is a porterbuilt... the wheels are in some and its laying hard.
