Re: how about some pics of 60-66 long beds
Here is a before and after of my 65. Took almost 2 years to get complete and was ready 2 weeks before our wedding so it drove me to the church.

Re: how about some pics of 60-66 long beds
Yeah what's interesting is the first picture you posted looks more bluish than the last two witch are more green, but pc's are known for that but it is still a nice color..Vernski

Re: how about some pics of 60-66 long beds
Thanks Vernski, although I can't take any credit for the color since I bought it like this. I believe its Daytona yellow from late 60's Chevy cars but not 100% sure. The original color was Harvest yellow which is much more pale.

Re: how about some pics of 60-66 long beds
Look at what I had made for my truck. Since my last picture posts have been a TKO500 and a 350 block...well, this gives you an idea where this will end up.
Uh. LOL. I meant to post this in a different thread...but since my truck is a long bed then I guess it is marginally ok. Last edited by endlessearth; 10-28-2013 at 06:18 PM. Reason: wrong thread dummy! |

Re: how about some pics of 60-66 long beds
I might as well get in on this too. I prefer a longbed, they look more in proportion than a shortbox in my opinion. They ride like a car also.

Re: how about some pics of 60-66 long beds
Softpatch - I asked him the same question in the "How about some pics of Static dropped 60-66" section. His reply:
http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...&postcount=472 "Thanks fellas. The wheels are Appliance tru-spoke fine wires, 15x10 in the back and 15x8 in the front. I've had them for years and they were pretty rusty so I had them repaired and respoked. Appliance has been out of business for years. I can't find a new wheel that is the same. Tires are 295's x50's in the back and 245'sx50's in the front, but I think I will go to a 60 series tire in the front. The front is dropped 4 1/2 inches - 2 1/2inch drop spindles and 2 inch drop springs. The back is dropped 4 inches with 4" drop springs."
