Re: Mike's 66 swb dropmember build
The aftermarket doors fit "OK". Not as good as original, had to do some jacking around to try too make them fit. I just didn't feel like fixing the rust and holes in mine. The headers I used were for a first gen Camaro. Don't have the part number.

Re: Mike's 66 swb dropmember build
Went to a car show in Indiana about 60 miles from home. Truck ran great. The weather was perfect. Had about a hundred vehicles. People seem to love these bagged trucks.I was very susurprised when I got best of show. Sure is a lot more fun going to car shows than working on it

Re: Mike's 66 swb dropmember build
Congrats! You shouldn't be surprised, as it's truly a nice truck. That looked like a pretty nice stock-looking truck that was parked next to you. And I agree that it's much more fun when you take them out & enjoy them.

Re: Mike's 66 swb dropmember build
kvn1011 I made a framework out of 1x1 angle iron. And yes it is bolted to the bed sides and floor. Like to see your truck when you get it rolling.
