It's actually a yellow top cover that I painted black along with the top part of the battery to eliminate the bright yellow.

It's designed to cover the top post if they aren't being used but you might be able to modify it to make it work. I'd give it a shot

We jokingly call it the Red Regular Cab Tour. My buddies (RedRat) truck is down so he drove my 98 down.

Where did you get the pedals? I love the pedals GM used up into the early 70's and those evoke the look well.
