Re: finally come

In all of this, you are saving your NOS boxes the parts came in! Great for display and for the insurance evaluation when it's finished.

Re: finally come

Hey pimpston
How did the armrests turn out after you sprayed them with the Krylon? I need to do mine with the same paint only in khaki as that's what color my interior is. What kind of prep work did you do? Mine is new so not too much prep needed

Re: finally come

Cool thanks. If it don't rain for the next few days, I will get mine dibe.
I appreciate the info. I was hoping I wouldn't have to use the Fusion paint for plastic.

Don't forget to make sure you have a good metal-to-metal ground connection from the cluster housing to the bezel, and form the bezel to the dash. Sometimes a little fresh paint can get in the way. Otherwise you're lights won't be as bright and the cigarette lighter can do funny things.

Re: finally come

Hey Winston, I saw this Burb when it landed, then lost track of it.

Just rediscovered it and read the whole thread, as I do not go on this section much, simply as it would eat another chunk out of my day and I do not have a Burb.

You guys have really progressed with this, though I suspect having a fast EBay finger, and a nose for picking parts, your progress is amazing.
